Sharath Chandra Ambula
A patent and a novel both begin the same way.
- Silicon Valley, California
- Writes in English
Sharath Chandra Ambula grew up in Telangana, in the heart of South India, and lives in Silicon Valley, California, where he works as a systems architect in the semiconductor industry. He is a named inventor on numerous United States patents in memory and storage technology.
He has spent his life imagining things that do not yet exist. Some of those imaginings became inventions; others became stories. To him, the two have never been different acts — a patent and a novel both begin the same way, with a mind picturing what no one has seen.
He composed stories for more than a decade before calling himself a writer. True to his life in technology, he embraces AI as his language assistant — a scribe for the worlds in his head, taking down his thoughts and polishing his English.
Netrani, born of the myths, rivers, and forests of southern India, is his first novel.
